المستخلص

The aim of the current research is to find ways and mechanisms to activate the quality of work life and its role in achieving the dimensions of institutional excellence an applied study on private schools in Sohag governorate, through identifying the intellectual and philosophical framework of work life quality in contemporary administrative literature, identifying the intellectual and philosophical framework of institutional excellence in contemporary administrative literature, and identifying the reality of applying the quality of work life and its role in achieving the dimensions of institutional excellence in private schools in Sohag governorate.
The researcher used the descriptive curriculum, because it is an appropriate approach to achieve the objectives of the study, and a questionnaire was prepared consisting of three main axes, and the number of questionnaire phrases(59) phrases, to identify the reality of the quality of work life in private schools in Sohag governorate, the most important obstacles facing the quality of work life in private schools in Sohag governorate, the reality of institutional excellence in private schools in Sohag governorate.
For the nature of the study, the researcher chose a random sample, the study sample was limited to a group of managers and teachers of private schools in Sohag governorate, and the members of the sample whose forms were completed amounted to(300)individual.
The results of the research resulted in a set of results, the most prominent of which are:
- There is an correlation a positive and strong correlation relationship and a statistically significant function. between the quality of work life in its various dimensions as an independent variable and institutional excellence in its various dimensions as a dependent variable.
- Poor encouragement of the school administration employees to express their opinion regarding the solution of labor problems.
- Resistance to change and adherence to the use of traditional methods in school work sometimes.
- Weak interest in the fair distribution of bonuses to school employees.
- Ignoring the interest-sometimes-in building community partnerships and cooperation with various institutions in society.
- Lack of application of training and education programs, continuous qualification of employees-at different levels.
Through the results of the field study and the theoretical framework, the researcher proposed mechanisms and procedures to activate the quality of work life to achieve the dimensions of institutional excellence in private schools in Sohag governorate.
