Abstract The experimental work of the present study was carried out at the Experimental Animals’ Center belonging to Station of EL-Serw Poultry Research Station, Animal Production Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, Ministry of Agriculture, Egypt. The current study was lasted for three months, the beginning of September 14th, 2019 to the November 15th, 2019. The main objective of study was to evaluate the effect of injection with clove oil or salbutamol drug on productive, physiological and immunity responses of growing rabbits. Forty unsexed weeks-old NZW rabbits were equally and randomly distributed into five groups which containing eight rabbits in each. Groups were • group 1: Rabbits were not injected (control group, T1). • group 2: Rabbits were injected with clove oil (12.5 μml/rabbit/week, T2). • group 3: Rabbits were injected with clove oil (25 μml/rabbit/week, T3). • group 4: Rabbits were injected with salbutamol (25 μml/rabbit/week, T4). • group 5: Rabbits were injected with salbutamol (50 μml/rabbit/week, T5). CONCLUSION from the obtained results, we concluded that injection with low level of cloves oils (12.5 µml/ rabbit) could significantly promote final body weight and weight of fur, additionally, improving feed conversion ratio and increases the release of gonadotropin releasing hormone compared to other treatments. Hence, injection rabbit with clove oil could be a safe alternative to drugs, improvement growth production and produce harmless meat with numerous beneficial effects on consumer health. |
