Abstract Tetranychus urticae Koch, considered one of the most significant economically pests on a wide range of crops in orchards worldwide. T. urticae control has been largely based on the utilization of acaricides. However, that the application of an insecticide or acaricide at sublethal concentrations may cause pest numbers to increase rather than decline. The stimulation of populations caused by sublethal concentrations of pesticides is incompletely understood but may result from a suppression of natural enemies, a stimulation of reproduction, an increase in egg hatching, and an enhancement of pre-imaginal survivorship. from this point of view, this investigation aimed to evaluate the toxic effect of some mixture pesticides namely (Folium flix 32.8% SC, Romactin gold 32.8% SC, Perfect 12% EW, Denem vet 45% WG, Agree flix 18.6 SC and Fedility 40% WG) on T. urticae Koch and the predacious mite Phytoseiulus persimilis. Studied on toxicity index and life-table parameters of T. urticae. Through this study, it can be concluded that tested compounds under investigation can play an important role in developing integrated crop management by controoling the T. urticae Koch in Egypt. |
