المستخلص
The thesis focuses on the phenomenon of political families and their role in political systems in Egypt, namely Sohag Governorate since 1923 to 2015. Since this period, major political transformations have occurred, including: changing the form of the government system from monarchy to republican, the abolition of parties and the adoption of the concept of a single party system, and then the return of parties in 1977, changing the composition of the political elite under the rule of Nasser, Sadat, and Mubarak, the outbreak of the 25 January Revolution in 2011, the arrival of the Muslim Brotherhood to power, and then the ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood.
