Quality is one of the fastest-developing sciences in recent decades, as it has gone from mere inspection of products to a multiplicity of overlapping disciplines and interrelated systems with each other and with various other disciplines in the industry. Standard specifications have evolved from mere product specifications to Specifications for the quality systems associated with all the activities of the facility. We find that the use of statistical methods can help in understanding the variables and thus help the establishments in solving problems and improving effectiveness and yield. These methods also facilitate better use of the available data to help in decision-making.
The importance of the study is due to the presence of defects in the product that lead to cases of non-conformity of production with the specifications required by the customer. This leads to a lot of customer complaints. This results in the reduction of orders due to cases of non-conformity of the product with the required specifications due to the presence of unacceptable defects in the product by the customer in one of the carpet manufacturers. The study aims to re-correct and evaluate the company’s quality systems and apply the principles, principles and systems of continuous improvement to improve performance and take the necessary measures and measures to reduce cases of non-conformity with the required specifications. The application of the continuous improvement approach and the use of appropriate statistical programs (Pareto analysis - fish bone analysis - quality control maps) in analyzing cases of non-conformity, accessing their causes, and improving and increasing the percentage of acceptable production from the first time.
And by studying what was mentioned previously, the researcher reached some results in the production stages of the carpet industry, and they were as follows.
 Despite the presence of a large percentage of defects in the tissue stage outside the acceptable control limits, they were returned to the correct path within the control limits during the improvement process, after repairing the obstacles leading to these defects.
This result has been confirmed through statistical tests through which it was confirmed that there is a real tendency to improve by accepting the alternative hypothesis and rejecting the null hypothesis in the test.
 Despite the presence of defects in the automated processing stage within the acceptable control limits, work was done during the improvement process to reach a better level of improvement during the production process, but a clear difference was found during the statistical testing process.
This result was confirmed through statistical tests in which it was confirmed that there is no real forgetfulness in the improvement by accepting the null hypothesis and rejecting the alternative hypothesis in the test.
It is inferred from this that even if the process is within the acceptable control limits, it does not have to be within the required control range.
 Despite the presence of defects in the final processing stage within the acceptable control limits, work was done during the improvement process to reach a better level of improvement during the production process.
