Abstract

Testicular cancer (TC) is an unusual type of cancer that occurs in the testicles (testes) that are involved in male gamete development. It accounts for only 1% of all cancers in men and affected the ages of 14 and 44. In the United States, almost 8,850 men are manually diagnosed and approximately 95% of testicular cancers are germ cell tumors (Cheng et al., 2018). Bleomycin, etoposide and cisplatin (BEP) represent the extreme line of treating testicular cancer. A combination of zinc supplementation improve the spermiogenesis, chromatin condensation and testicular structure of rat subjected for BEP-treatment (Razavi et al., 2019)Treated eighty-four patient with testicular germ cell cancer with cisplatin revealed up regulated of programmed cell death ligand 1 in testicular tumor compared to normal testicular tissue (Jennewein et al., 2018). The observed dramatic change of testicular damage was supported by decreased SOD and increase of MDA reflecting increase of oxidative stress. These was manifested decreased oxidative defense against liberated free radicals which enhanced by increased level of MDA (Schaalan et al., 2018; Adelakun et al., 2018; Liu et al., 2019). The observed testicular cell damage may result from the production of free oxygen species and decreases the SOD antioxidant, leading to reduction of the xidant/antioxidant balance which intern depleted the testosterone level involved in proliferation of the germ cell.
