Abstract
The present investigation was carried out in the N ew –vally , EL-Dakhla Oasis in five sites ; Mout , Bedkholo , El-Rashda –El-Hendaw and El-maasara during the years of 1997 , 1999 trying to improve some characteristics of honey bees (Apis mellifera carnica ) in the region . Qualitative characters of honeybees individuals were carried out in the five sites at the beginning of this study to determine them and compared with that after applying improved program, this study included : 1- Qualitative characters of honeybee workers .
