Abstract
The present thesis includes mainly four chapters and is concerned with the measurements of the naturally occurring radionuclides in soils, rocks and some building materials. Firstly, the activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th and 40K for the soils samples taken from the north Delta between Damietta and Burg El - Burrullus were measured, in addition to the rock samples taken from the north of Wadi Firan area, southern Sinai.
