Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease, it is iractlY attributable to a deficiency in insulin ativity. The insulen may be rabslution there may be a normal amount of ins roduced but its effect is neutralized to a greater r lesser degree b37 some antagonists, Practically, hether the insulin inadequacy Is relative or solute 9 the immediate result is the same. Distur nce in physiological Processes occur in proportion the degree of insufficiency of Insulin the utilization of the sugar decreases hyPerglYcaemi, d accordingly disturbance in fat and Protein meta ism Will Occur, Dunca, (1969). This diabetic te may have an eff.ct On the different cellular ments Of the blood. This Study there for was ected to reveal the changes in the red cells to cells and platelets in diabetic Patients. In this work 85 overt diabetic Patients were died (45 m~-:iles & 40 females). Their age range 8-63 years.
