This thesis, which is entitled “The Grammatical Choices of Ibn Hisham Al-Ansari (d. 763 AH) in his footnotes on facilitating the benefits and completing the objectives by Ibn Malik (d. 672 AH), collection and study, the first part of: Explanation of the word and speech and what is related to it until: the end of the chapter on the representative of the subject.” To obtain a doctorate degree, specializing in (grammar and morphology). My motivation for choosing this topic was:A- The importance of the topic, which lies in its scientific value through the two great scholars Ibn Malik and Ibn Hisham Al-Ansari, and the two venerable books Al-Tashil and Hawashi Ibn Hisham.B- Ibn Malik’s scholarly status among scholars, and the status of his book Tashil al-Fawa’id wa Takmil al-Maqasid, which, along with his explanation of it, is the pinnacle of his grammatical thought and the pinnacle of his linguistic knowledge.C- The status of Ibn Hisham Al-Ansari, the scholar and author of famous books.D- I wanted to look into Ibn Hisham’s footnotes for ease, especially since no one has studied or analyzed them.E- Most of the footnotes attributed to Ibn Hisham came scattered in the depths of the books, so I wanted to collect his selections and study them, especially with the multiplicity of opinions on one issue.
Most of the opinions of Ibn Hisham that came in his footnotes on ta’shil were not mentioned in his other books, nor were they mentioned in the explanations of ta’shil, as they are a new addition to the grammatical library.G - Ibn Hisham’s choices in his footnotes on Tashil have scientific value among grammarians, as evidenced by the large number of people who quoted them and cited them.The dissertation consists of an introduction, then a preface. It includes a translation by Ibn Malik, the author of Al-Tashil, and a translation by Ibn Hisham Al-Ansari, an introduction to the book Tashil Al-Fawaid and Takmil Al-Maqasid, and a description of Ibn Hisham’s footnotes on Al-Tashil. The research consists of seven chapters. The first chapter: It is divided into four sections. The first section: In Construction and structures, the second topic: parsing and parsing. The third topic: What departs from the original inflection, the fourth topic: on the ambiguous, the second chapter: on the abstract and abrogated nominal sentence, the third chapter on the verbal sentence and its complements, the fourth chapter: on the predicates, the fifth chapter: Ibn Hisham’s morphological choices in his footnotes on ease, the sixth chapter : Various choices, Chapter Seven: The study: in three sections, and the research concluded with the results and then the indexes.
