Objectives of the study: to identify, enumerate, and fully enumerate the patterns, images, and places of introduction and delay in Al-Mutanabbi’s Diwan, and its benefit The researcher attempt to know the rhetorical indications behind the introduction and dalay in all patterns extracted from Al-Mutanabbi’s Diwan.The limits of the study:The objective limit: (Anaphor and Cataphor in Diwan Al-Mutanabi, a Semantico-Syntactic Study) in Al-Mutanabbi’s Diwan, explained by Abi Al-Akbari.Linguistic limitation: This study deals with displaying and analyzing the patterns, images, and positions of introduction and delay in Al-Mutanabbi’s Diwan as this study is in linguistics.The most important results: The study showed that The idea of introduction and delay is based on shedding meaning on what is presented; To be in conformity with the case in the linguistic situation and its context, and showed that there must be evidence of submission indicating it, and it may be verbal evidence in speech, or evidence known through the state of the speaker or receiver , and through the general context of sentences and phrases, Meanings cannot be separated from the grammatical lesson. Each is complementary to the other; Rules are means to reach ends, and these ends are meanings.
