First / Problem of the Study:
The past years have witnessed successive leaps in information and communication technology accompanied by changes in the capabilities of young people with regard to dealing with technology. Therefore, Egypt is witnessing the most important stages of digital transformation, in which all state agencies cooperate, as it works to transform the state from the eras of bureaucracy and slow pattern to digital ages and rapid pace.
Consequently, there was a necessity for all professions and disciplines to work together to develop digital transformation skills with youth groups, especially the profession of social work, as it is a profession specialized in working with all stages. This is done by using the appropriate requirements for the social worker to work with the groups through following the way of serving the community.
Second / Objectives of the Study: the current study objectives unfold as following:
a) Determining the value requirements for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people.
b) Determining the cognitive requirements for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people.
c) Determining the digital requirements for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people.
d) Determining the obstacles facing social workers when they use digital transformation skills with young people.
e) Determining the necessary proposals for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people.
Third: Questions of the study: The questions of the current study are as follows:
1- What are the value requirements for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people?
2- What are the cognitive requirements for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people?
3- What are the digital requirements for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people?
4- What are the obstacles that social workers face when they use digital transformation skills with young people?
5- What are the necessary suggestions for social workers to practice digital transformation skills with young people?
Fourth / Concepts of the Study:
1- Requirements concept.
2- Practice concept.
3- Digital transformation skills concept.
Fifth / Type of the Study:
The study is considered one of the descriptive studies aiming to explore the requirements necessary for the social worker and the group to practice the digital transformation skills with the young people One of the rationale for using the descriptive study is that it is consistent with the objectives of the study and achieve identification of the requirements and skills required by the social workers to work with the groups to practice digital transformation with young people.
Sixth / The Approach:
The study relied on the social survey approach of comprehensive quality and sample.
Seventh / Study Toos:
In this study, the researcher relied on a main tool, which is the questionnaire form for social workers working in the youth center
Eighth / Fields of Study:
1- The human domain:
This study was conducted on all social workers working in youth and sports centers in Al Nasha Center, Tahta Center, and Tama Center in Sohag Governorate, and their number is (60) social workers.
2- The spatial domain:
All the youth and sports centers in the Nashah Center, Tahta Center, and Tama Center in Sohag Governorate, and their number is (32) youth centers.
3- The time domain:
The period of conducting the study theoretically and scientifically.
Ninth: Study results:
The study answered the questions that indicated the importance of the cognitive, value and digital requirements, and they had a major role in the practice of the social workers working with groups for digital transformation skills.
