Abstract

In the end of the current study the subsequent recommendations could be submitted:
1. Brown algae (Sargassum subrepandum) powder (BAP) a full healthy/functional food’s package via being an ideal source of nutritional and bioactive constituents. Many of such constituents exhibited important biological activities.
2. Intervention with BAP lead to significant attenuate the hyperglycemia . Also, it was effective in protecting against diabetes complications including inhibit liver diseases via liver serum enzymes-lowering action, improvement of the serum antioxidant status (increase the glutathione fractions and decrease the formation of malonaldehyde, nitric oxide and reactive oxygen species). Consequently, we proposed BAP via a concentration up to 10% to be involved in daily drinks, diets, and food supplementation of normal and diabetic people.
3. 3. The results of the current study together with those from previous studies may be the first step in the expansion of the use of BAP as natural antioxidants in numerous medicinal, dietary, and industrial applications.
4. 4. Focusing on conducting more and more research in the area of identifying the bioactive/phytochemical components of BAP and extending their use in human diets and medical applications in place of the chemical used, which has adverse effects on human health.
5. Several advertising programs through different media channels should be introduced to educate/advertise the community by the BAP, sources, bioactive/phytochemical compounds, biological activities, economical value, nutritional and pharmacological applications.
