The development taking place in various sports activities is nothing but the outcome of research, studies and various sciences that have contributed to the progress of the sports movement at all levels. Among those sciences that have contributed to this development is sports psychology, which has a significant and clear impact along with the rest of the theoretical and applied sciences. Exploiting the overlap between these sciences in terms of the applied aspect and theories aims to develop the levels and sports achievements in various sports during training and competition through psychological preparation, which is no less important in reaching the player to the best level before and during the sports competition.
Sports psychology tries to understand the behavior and experience of the individual under the influence of sports activity, and to measure this behavior and experience as much as possible, and to try to benefit from knowledge and information in practical application. This type of human activity, and an attempt to find scientific solutions to its various applied problems.
Osama Kamel Ratib (2004 AD) believes that sports excellence depends on the psychological and physical abilities of the players. Psychological abilities help players mobilize their physical abilities and energies to achieve maximum and best sports performance.
Muhammad Allawi (1998) believes that during sports practice and during training and competition, players are exposed to some situations that result in what can be called psychological injury, and psychological injury in sports can be defined as a psychological (trauma) as a result of a specific accident related In the sports field, which may or may not result in physical injury, but some changes occur in the psychological characteristics of the individual, and their effect is evident in changing the transitional, motivational and behavioral state for the athlete, and thus a DROP in the level and in some cases the player’s interruption from practicing sports.
Mohammed Hassan Allawi (1998) believes that sports psychology plays an important role in the field of psychological rehabilitation for the injured athlete, and from the various observations for athletes who have sports injuries, there are some changes in their physical condition as well as their psychological condition.
Mostafa Bahi and Samir Gad (2004), Muhammad Allawi (1998), Ahmed Fawzi (1992) agree that the psychological manifestations of sports injury often result in negative manifestations that directly affect the athlete, the most important of which are (fear - Anxiety) that accompanies the player for a long time, and may lead to disturbances in the functional organs (physiological changes) and thus reduce the level of athletic performance, poor self-confidence and a general negative mood, which leads to hesitation and reluctance to perform the motor meals associated with it despite the smoothness of the lower organs responsible for implement it.
Scientists confirm that any human behavior must have a motive or motives that provoke and direct it, and the achievement motive is one of the factors that affect the level of determining the individual’s performance and productivity in the various fields and activities he performs, and it represents a force that provokes and directs the behavior of students towards any work related to the two educational processes. and learning.
Abdul Latif Khalifa (2000) indicates that the achievement motive is an important factor in directing and activating the individual’s behavior, and in his awareness of the situation, as well as helping him to understand and explain the behavior of the individual and the behavior of those around him. With regard to achieving goals, and what he seeks from a better way of life and greater levels of his human existence.
Anwar Al-Sharqawi (2001) states that the achievement motive is one of the main motives that are linked to the goals of school work, and helping students to achieve this motive activates their performance level and achieves the most important aspects of school work motivation.
Muhammad Allawi (2002 AD) mentions that the process of building and developing the athlete’s motivation is among the most important factors that contribute to raising his athletic level, and helps him bear the hardships and troubles of intense physical loads during the sports training process, as well as helping him to persevere in training throughout the year without getting bored. or tirelessly. It also contributes to serious attempts to achieve his ambitious goals of success, winning and achieving sports championships, as the motivation towards sports practice can be considered as a continuous series of circles and linked to each other and form a single ring that aims for the player to practice sports activity so that he can gradually reach the highest levels of sports without being objected. His path is an obstacle or obstacle that stands as a stumbling block in his way to advance his level or causes him to Falling in the middle of the road and hindering him from practicing sports.
Muhammad Allawi (2018) indicates that achievement motives mean trying to achieve something difficult, performing with the greatest amount of effort, trying to overcome obstacles, achieving a high level, surpassing oneself, competing with others and trying to outdo them. It represents striving and striving towards a certain level of excellence and superiority.
Muhammad Allawi (2002) pointed out that the player who is characterized by a high achievement motivation tends to practice sports training that is characterized by high intensity and high volume, and continues to train even after the end of one training period and work to double it and direct his energies towards achieving high levels.
It is defined by Mona Al-Mursi, quoting from “Mohammed Allawi” (2019), that the motivation is the athlete’s willingness to face the situations of sports competition and try to excel and excel in the light of a certain level or criterion of excellence and excellence by showing a great deal of activity, effectiveness and perseverance as an expression of Desire to struggle and struggle for superiority and excellence in sports competition situations.
Muhammad Allawi (2006 AD) pointed out that the athlete’s reaching the highest levels, which means the player’s willingness to face the situations of sports competition and try to excel and excel by showing the largest possible amount of activity, effectiveness and perseverance as an expression of the desire to struggle and struggle for excellence and excellence in situations Sports competition It is noted in sports that there is recognition and appreciation for the player who exerts more effort in training or sports competitions, and in light of this it is assumed that this player is characterized by a high degree of achievement motivation.
Basketball is the second popular game after football in many Arab countries, This sport receives a lot of attention and care from the sports federations and institutions in these countries, because it is considered one of the games that many citizens of all ages like and prefer.
As Zinedine Zidane (2004) points out that it is a group activity that includes many diverse motor skills that require its practitioners to possess a number of special motor abilities, in particular neuromuscular coordination, flexibility, agility, and speed characteristic of both arms and legs, in addition to possessing many physical, mental, and psychological abilities.
As Amjad Al-Atoum (2012) indicates that the game of basketball is one of the distinguished popular games that are widely practiced today, as it needs research and study to identify the most important obstacles that prevent its progress.

Research problem and its importance:
Through the researcher’s follow-up to the sports field, she noticed that the psychological repercussions of the injury have become a psychological barrier, as it becomes an obstacle to reaching an achievement, such as reaching higher levels. The psychological repercussions of a sports injury severely affect the player in terms of his level, progress, skill and fitness. Due to the large number of athletes exposed to different types of psychological repercussions of injury, this topic has aroused the researcher’s interest in trying to know its psychological impact on female basketball players and their athletic performance, in order to reach appropriate solutions to treat psychological repercussions (feeling anxious, feeling depressed, taking care of the body, feeling sensitive towards others Feeling angry, feeling frustrated, feeling lack of confidence, feeling sad) that affect the level of achievement and progress of female basketball players and their athletic performance.
There is no doubt that the player who had previously suffered a sports injury, as well as her colleague who saw other players were subjected to any psychological reflection or witnessed or read about that injury and the extent of its psychological repercussions, or it almost led to her life. This affects the motivation of sports achievement and their skill performance, and from here the idea of the current research emerged, through which I wanted to study the relationship between the psychological repercussions of sports injury, achievement motivation and skill performance among female basketball players.
Research goal:
The research aims to identify:-
1- The relationship between the psychological repercussions of sports injuries and achievement motivation among female basketball players.
2- The relationship between the psychological repercussions of sports injuries and the level of skill performance among female basketball players.
3- The relationship between sports achievement motivation and the level of skill performance among female basketball players.
Research hypotheses:
1- There is a statistically significant correlation between the psychological repercussions of sports injuries and achievement motivation among female basketball players.
2- There is a statistically significant correlation between the psychological repercussions of sports injuries and the level of skill performance among female basketball players.
3- There is a statistically significant correlation between sports achievement motivation and skill performance level among female basketball players.
Search procedures:
Research Methodology:
The researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method, due to its suitability to the nature and objectives of this research.
Research community and sample:
The research community represents the basketball juniors (in the Workers Club of Zagazig University in Sharkia Governorate) (2021-2022 AD), which are 37 youths randomly.
Data collection tools and methods:
1- Reference survey.
2- The personal interview.
3- Equipment and tools used.
4- Forms.
5- Metrics.

After the scale was prepared in its second form and the number of its phrases is (44) distributed on (9) dimensions, annex (9), then the researcher randomly distributed its phrases, annex (10) to be applied on sun day 6/3/2022 to wednes day 9/3/2022 AD on the exploratory sample that It consists of (20) young women from the workers club, Zagazig University, to learn about:
- The extent to which young girls understand the scale.
- Calculate the time to answer the scale.
- Finding the scientific coefficients of the scale (honesty and reliability).

Scientific Transactions of the Psychological Reflections Scale: (Prepared by: Marihan Abdel Nasser Hamid Dowidar 2022 AD)
Validity of the factor analysis To analyze the validity of the factor, the researcher followed the following steps:
Factor analysis using the basic components method: Principal components
The method of basic components is one of the most accurate and common methods of factor analysis in research, and this method has many advantages, including that it leads to accurate saturations. Also, ”each factor extracts the maximum amount of variance, that is, the sum of the squares of the factor’s saturations reaches the maximum degree for each factor, and the correlation matrix is reduced to the least number of orthogonal factors, and this method is now among the most common methods due to the accuracy of its results compared to the rest roads.
Interrelationship Matrix:
The correlation coefficients between the scale expressions of the exploratory sample of 20 juniors in basketball were calculated using the Pearson coefficient of raw scores.
Scale stability:
The scale was applied to the survey sample (20) and the reliability was calculated as follows:
• Coefficient Alpha Cronbach’s:
The alpha coefficient of the scale was calculated, and its value was = 0.877, then the alpha coefficients were calculated (with the singular score omitted).
• Steady-half constancy:
The stability of the scale was calculated by the hash-half method, as well as the stability coefficients.
Scale correction method:
After the scale has been prepared in its final form (44) phrases and to ensure its validity and stability, the correction key has been prepared, provided that the scores of the scale responses are calculated on a triple scale of assessment (agree - to some extent - I do not agree) as represented in the following:
- OK (three degrees).
- So I do not agree (one mark).
- Mewhat (two degrees).
Thus, the minimum and maximum responses of the girls on the scale are as follows:
- Minimum = 44 x 1 = 44
- Max = 44 x 3 = 132
