Abstract
In tie present work we have explored the effect of torsion on cosmological and astrophysical applications of field theories . The thesis contains three chapters . The first contains the geometricc and physical preliminaries necessary for the work . The second contains applications of f (T) theory to three world models admitting the effect of torsion . Chapter 3 contains other world models obtained as a consequence of using different conditions to solve modified FRW and 3 have been published in [22] and [64]
