Conclusion: Obesity has a negative impact on the children’s daily life. Obese children reported poorer quality of life as regards the physical, emotional, social, school functioning domains and total quality of life than normal children. Management of obesity should include health related quality of life measurements as a parameter of overweight and obesity outcome. Physical fittness was impaired among cases & has negative association with obesity . This cardio respiratory fittness provides necessary information regarding cardiovascular status of the child and helps in preventing future hazardous health complications. The problem of increase in body fat can be overcome by making it compulsory to implement physical education programs in schools and eating healthy diet and leading an active life style.
