The issue of thinking, its development and stimulating creativity has become the focus of most institutions’ attention, because providing trainees with thinking skills enables them to face contemporary life and its challenges. Most people feel helpless in front of life’s various situations and problems. Most people do not think creatively as much as they repeat the usual patterns of thinking and the reason for this is that we trained our minds to take shortened ways of thinking and we continue to learn during our lives more and more shortened ways of thinking that help us to speed up the completion of usual activities to save more time for other activities. (Al-Omari, 2020). Thinking is one of the aspects that characterizes man, as God Almighty has singled him out with the mental abilities that help him to implement the mind, to organize the affairs of his life and deal with different situations more effectively to achieve his goals and ambitions, and strive to make decisions that help him solve life’s problems and challenges. (Abdel Nour, 2021). Just as human decisions determine his fate, strategic decisions determine the fate of any organization, and those decisions usually have causes, conditions and factors such as internal and external environmental factors, and it is not a random process. Rather, it is a process that has well-known mechanisms and methodologies and is affected by a number of factors that determine its effectiveness and success after implementation, and since the strategic decision is one of the basics of strategy formulation. Therefore, it is closely linked to the higher leadership in any institution, especially the educational one. Therefore, it is considered one of the most difficult decisions because it passes through several stages that start with defining the problem, defining the strategic objectives, collecting information, defining alternatives, choosing the strategic alternative, implementing the strategic decision and following up and evaluating it. All of these steps require personal and creative skills from the decision maker, as decision-making skills are considered important skills at the individual and organizational levels. Because it affects the quality of higher education outcomes. Which is the future of the country, and therefore it affects the speed of the country’s progress and its achievement of its development and economic goals. Therefore, this study aims to shed light on the skills and mechanisms needed in the strategic decision-making process, which decision-makers must acquire and follow, which will positively affect the development of the administrative system. (Makhdoum, 2020). Based on the importance of the relationship between the organization & its external environment & the necessity of compatibility between them & in continuity with previous research efforts in this field & an increase in intellectual & knowledge enrichment, this study aimed to identify the impact of JUMP program on the effectiveness of strategic decisions. The program was presented by a group of researchers at Euro-Med Academy in the Kingdom of Norway, as it is the first program in the world to get rid of mental stereotypes. It is unfortunate that most of us are creative in making mental shortcuts that are difficult for them to abandon & remain captive to imitation & inertia. JUMP program is designed to help identify mental shortcuts that you practice automatically & provide you with ways to break free from them. (Moussa,2015). First: The importance of the study: The importance of the study at the scientific & practical levels can be explained as follows: 1- Scientific importance: The scientific significance of this study is: A- Attempting to enrich and add more studies in relatively recent areas of strategic management. B - Contribute to the link between the Jump program and the effectiveness of strategic decisions as two variables that have not been linked before (within the researcher’s knowledge). C- Helping to open an opportunity for researchers to provide indicators of the nature of the relationship between the JUMP program and the effectiveness of strategic decisions through the results of the study. 2- Practical importance: The practical importance of this study stems from its assistance in human resources and training in knowing the extent of the impact of the Jump program on the effectiveness of strategic decisions. Second: The problem of the study It is summarized in the absence of an answer to the following question: Is there a relationship between the jump program to get rid of thinking traps & the effectiveness of strategic decisions? Do the opinions of the sample members differ towards the study variables according to their demographic variables.
