Abstract
Hydrazone compounds are very important molecules and have attracted much consideration in both academic and applied research. Dimedone constitutes an important group of compounds due to the presence of characteristic keto group, which acts as a starting material for many biologically active heterocyclic compounds. The widest usage of the hydrazone is due to the number of the variations in the chemical structure and the methods of application which are generally not complex. The thesis comprises of three chapters: Chapter 1: includes the introduction and a literature survey on the hydrazone compounds and their metal complexes. Chapter 2: concerned with the experimental work and illustrates the used experiments. Also, includes a list of reagents along with the physical measurements and instrumentation Chapter 3: concerned with the results and discussion.
