The research aimed at determine the effectiveness of Syncetics strategy and open ended multi pass strategy in developing narrative writing skills of gifted secondary school girl students. The researcher handled the following procedures: 1- Design a list of narrative writing skills that should be developed for first grade gifted girl students. 2- Design a test of narrative writing skills for first grade gifted girl students. 3- A teacher guide for using Syncetics strategy and open ended multi pass strategy to Develop narrative writing skills for first grade gifted girl students. 4- Select the research sample from first grade secondary gifted girl students and divided into two experimental groups. 5- Apply a pre test of narrative writing skills on both experimental groups. 6- Teach by using using Syncetics strategy and open ended multi pass strategy for two experimental groups. 7- Apply a post test of narrative writing skills on both experimental groups. Finding of the research: The research reaches the following findings: There was a significant statistically difference at 0.05 between means scores of pre and post test of narrative writing skills for first experimental that was taught by Syncetics strategy in favor of post test. There was a significant statistically difference at 0.05 between means scores of pre and post test of narrative writing skills for second experimental that was taught by multi pass strategy in favor of post test. There was no significant statistically difference at 0.05 between means scores of both two experimental groups in post test of narrative writing skills. Syncetics strategy achieved an acceptable degree of effectiveness in developing narrative writing skills for first grade secondary gifted girl students. • Multi pass strategy achieved an acceptable degree of effectiveness in developing narrative writing skills for first grade secondary gifted girl students. Recommendation of the research: • Caring about developing narrative writing skills for secondary stage girl students in general and for gifted girls specially. Training Arabic language teacher for using modern teaching strategy that participate in developing narrative writing skills for students like Syncetics strategy and Multi pass strategy.
