This research aimed at building a proposed program based on digital stories and imagination strategy to develop creative writing skills among students in the preparatory stage. To achieve this goal, the researcher conducted the following procedures:
1. Some researches and studies dealing with creative writing skills, achievement tests, digital educational programs, study of educational literature related to curricula and teaching methods, and the characteristics of students in the preparatory stage.
2. Preparation of a list of some creative writing skills to be developed by students in the first grade preparatory.
3. Build a creative writing skills test for first grade students.
4. Tribal application to test creative writing skills on the study group.
5. Building a list of criteria for selecting the content and design of digital stories for the students in the preparatory stage.
6. Design the content of the proposed program based on digital stories and the strategy of imagination to develop the creative writing skills of pupils in the first grade preparatory, and the teacher’s guide.
7. Teaching the content of the proposed program - based on digital stories and visualization strategy - to the experimental group (study group).
8. Remote application to test creative writing skills on the experimental group.
9. Monitoring, statistical processing, interpretation, and recommendations.
The results showed the effectiveness of the proposed program in digital stories and the strategy of imagination in developing the creative writing skills of the first grade pupils. The experimental group in the post-performance test of creative writing skills, after studying the proposed program, exceeded the tribal performance in most skills, At the level of (0.05), indicating the effectiveness of the proposed program.
