Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effect of drenching water buffalo propylene glycol and propionate calcium with saline solution on the productivity, reproductively, morphology, and metabolism. Methods & Results: Buffalo calves in all groups were fed the experimental diet in the end two month from pregnant to after post-partum 2 month up to conception. LBW, feed intake, LBW, milk yield and compassion, blood biochemical parameters were determined, also, 1st service and conception. The obtained results revealed that these treatments affected positively all studied measurements. Since there were improvements in daily feed intake, blood biochemical parameters, milk yield and composition, live body weight, birth weight, reproductive performance, and udder measurements. Conclusion : Generally, when fed female buffalo propylene glycol and propionate calcium with saline solution (0.9% NaCl) as a source of energy. The improvement was in live body weight, udder shape, milk yield, good healthy and reproductive performance for female buffalo.
