The study aimed at presenting a proposed program based on color coding and Quran reading pen to cure common errors in second grade preparatory stage students’ Holy Quran recitation. The study has reached a list of common errors in second grade preparatory stage students’ recitation.In the light of these errors, the study has developed a proposed program and a teacher’s guide-book to illustrate how to teach the program.The study has applied the proposed program to the experimental group, which has reached twenty students of the second grade of preparatory stage. The number of the control group has also reached twenty students from 10th or Ramadan Educational Administration. The program has been applied to the experimental group to verify its effectiveness in curing common errors in second grade preparatory stage students’ recitation of the Holy Quran.The study used a test (prepared by the researcher) to measure the cognitive aspect of the common errors in the Holy Quran recitation, as well as a note card (prepared by the researcher) to measure the performance aspect of the common errors. The test and the note card were applied preand post applying the remedial program to the experimental and control groups students.The study has reached a list of common errors of Holy Quran recitation in second grade preparatory students, amounting to one hundred and six, divided as follows:-Audio errors, the number reached sixty-four common errors.-Morphology ‘Sarf’ errors, the number reached twelve common errors.-Grammatical errors, the number reached ten common errors.-Recital betterment ‘Tajweed’ errors, the number of errors reached twenty common errors.Through calculating the differences between the students’ average scores, the study acknowledged the effectiveness of the proposed program in curing the common errors in recitation of second grade preparatory students.
