Language is the most important means of thinking, expression and communication. It plays a major role in converting culture heritage from a generation to another, achieving development and promotion for human beings.
Language Is not only a tool for thinking, expression, but also it is essentially words, thoughts, and emotions. There for it is necessary for teaching and learning for development of human knowledge that can be transformed in to experiences and thoughts.
Listening is on of the most important communication methods with others, There are several misconceptions about listening] We have no control over what we hear Listening on the other hand is an active process that constructs meaning from both verbal and nonverbal messages To use the active listening technique to improve interpersonal communication puts personal emotions aside during the conversation, asks questions and paraphrases back to the speaker to clarify understanding, and one also tries to overcome all types of environment distractions Judging or arguing prematurely is a result of holding onto a strict personal opinion.] This hinders the ability to be able to listen closely to what is being said contact and appropriate body languages are seen as important components to active listening The stress and intonation may also keep them active and away from distractions
Active listening is concerned with improving your ability to understand exactly what the other party means when speaking to you this is not as straightforward as it sounds because active listening involves listening for meaning not just listening to the words they use and accepting them at face value.
Negotiation skills are one of the most important skills that students need in their because neither party will be able to get everything they want, knowing that there must concessions, each party in the Negotiation is required to adopt an attitude of understanding that they must get the best deal possible in a way which is acceptable to the other party.
Negotiation skills need more importance of learners in various stages of education, as it develops the students ability to communicate with the issues and problems of their life at the present life and try to solve it with using
Negotiation skills
If the Negotiation skills get so much important in the field of education where it develops social responsibility among learners and weigh their personality and make them active Negotiators in their community with insights of things and help them to provide evidence supporting a particular position logically, what qualifies them to be opinion leaders in their societies.
Because of the importance of listening skills and Negotiation skills, we should develop their skills for all learners, especially for preparatory students so we should search for type of learning that may help students to get their skills, Negotiation approach is one of types that may help us to do this, it refers to the process we use to satisfy our needs when someone else controls what we are seeking, one thing is certain about negotiation we each do it every day sometimes we can be negotiating even knowing it.
Problem of the research:
This present research try to answer the following main question:
What is the extent of program based on negotiation approach for developing listening skills and negotiation skills awareness for preparatory students?
This question is diverged to the following questions:
1- What are the adequate listening skills for the preparatory students?
2- What are the adequate negotiation skills for the preparatory students?
3- What are the bases for using program based on negotiation approach for developing listening skills and negotiation skills awareness for preparatory students?
4- What are the components of program based on negotiation approach for developing listening skills and negotiation skills awareness for preparatory students?
5- What is the effectiveness of program based on negotiation approach
developing listening skills for preparatory students?
6- What is the effectiveness of program based on negotiation approach for developing negotiation skills awareness for preparatory students?
