There are many reasons that motivated the researcher to choose this study, and among these reasons : -An attempt to determine the frameworks of political thought in Iraqi Kurdistan in the light of political thought development in Iraq in particular and its regional and international development for the purpose of formulating a political ideology related to Iraqi Kurdistan. The researcher’s contentment that the political thought is considered the real gate that helps in the clarity of vision of society movement in Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan equally. The researcher’s desire in providing the historical library with specialized studies which the library already needs in the field of political thought. Directing the focus on the importance of interdisciplinary studies that are depending on the support and integration between many disciplines, and in this study, the two disciplines of politics and history are employed in specialized scientific study. The academic theoretical importance lies in using modern mechanisms and tools in the field of researches and historical studies such as content analysis tools, integration between various approaches and dedication of interdisciplinary studies approach that aims to affirm the concept of human science unity. The applied importance discusses observing and tracing political thought ideas in Iraqi Kurdistan in reality through political organizations and religious associations and others and the modality of integration between Arabic and Kurdish visions of political thought dimensions. The prospective importance lies in showing the role of political and bourgeois elite in setting and formulating specific developments of political thought in the light of consequent local, regional and international variables and the possibility of getting benefit of them in the future of society in Iraqi Kurdistan. The study depends on the descriptive approach through tracing and observing manifestations and fields of political thought in Iraqi Kurdistan by studying, knowing and analyzing features of political thought in Iraqi Kurdistan and analyzing the content of some visions that address Kurdish political thought.
